Colón Rivera Family Fund

The Colón Rivera Family was founded in approximately 1924 or 1925 when Pedro Colón López and Marcelina Rivera Ocasio joined in holy matrimony. Together they had 18 children, of which 15 lived to adulthood. From those 15 there is a group of (at last count) 43 grandchildren and countless great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, etc. Some have past, some have left the island but there is a remnant that still lives in Puerto Rico and is suffering right now from the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria on September the 20th.  Although we are a large bunch, it is a very overwhelming financial situation  on our family to provide support for those left on the island. They are unable to work their regular jobs because of the lack of power to the island so they depend on us, the family members who are in the US to provide financial aide and other resources to keep them fed and clothed for God knows who long. We're asking all of our friends and family to please assist with whatever you can financially to make sure this family, who was created by 2 of the most amazing and hardworking grandparents anyone could ask for are taken care of. Let's make them proud by taking care of their  children and children's children.
