Help 7-year-old Collin fight cancer!
This handsome guy is my little cousin. He’s a southern gentleman from south Mississippi whose compassion for others is as big as they come, and his smile is known to melt the hardest of hearts. He’s full of life and an avid outdoorsman who was so excited when he recently got his first deer.
Collin has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphoma and it’s spreading rapidly throughout his little body. He’s courageously embarking on a journey of numerous treatments for the next several months.
A nurse asked him what he likes to do for fun, and without missing a lick, he quoted the chorus from his favorite Luke Bryan song, “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day.” This gets to the very core of who Collin is. Then he ended with, “I’m ready to beat this so I can go to Colorado and hunt.” We pray his spirit remains strong and may his dream come true.
“If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,’ but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it?” (James 2:15-16)
“For I was... ill and you cared for me... Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:35-40)
