hello!! I am planning on attending Hillsong International Leadership College in Australia, in January 2018. I decided on Hillsong College to be challenged mentally and spiritually, and to be equipped for ministry.
Because this college does not offer scholorships or financial aid, i thought id give any friends or family the chance to give to this amazing (yet sadly expensive) opportunity that i have been given. If you have any questions about my journey, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
It's been quite the ride (definietly an understantment lol) getting to this point; a journey of tears, doubt, fear, and mustard seed-sized confidence. But I can say that every bit of it was worth it becuase i now have full confidence that i had absolutly no reason to doubt God at all.

Heres how i came to this decision-
Ever since probably freshman year, every student was pressured into making plans for a university. As I saw all of my friends getting excited/nervous/ overwhelmed about the universities they were looking into, I felt a lot of well.... nothing. While everyone else was going to college fairs, and college visits i had no desire what so ever!
It was getting closer to junior year, when you are supposed to get very serious about your decision, and i basically decided to settle on random college that i wasn't even excited or passionate about or a community college close to home, and eventually end up spending thousands of dollars on a major/ minor that I probably wouldnt even use in the future.
I definitely want to thank my mom for encouraging me to open my mind for something greater. She challenged me to think and pray big to go somewhere/do something that I would've never thought of myself. (Thanks Ma)
While I was researching some colleges that id be interested in, and a college that would provide the experience that i wouldnt be able to get close to home, God had even bigger plans and told me so clearly that Hillsong College was where he was calling me. I'm not joking you when i say this but my jaw literally dropped when he told me this! I thought, "I said far God, but i wasn't expecting around the world!!" (and you can imagine the even more surprised looks that my parents gave me!) I knew this was from God because i was so at peace with every detail, and i had such a burning passion to be there.
I believe wholeheartedly in Hillsong college (the church as well), and everything they do and stand for. And I have never been so excited and passionate as i am for this. I can't wait to explore all that God has planned for my future there! SO with all of that being said i want to thank anyone who has decided to support my decision, pray along with me, push me when i was doubtful, and anyone who has graciously invested financially.
