<div>Mijn naam is Wandifa, ik ben een voormalig atleet uit Gambia en ben sinds 2014 in Nederland. Op de Afrikaanse spelen won ik zilver op de 400 meter. In Nederland deed ik ook aan topsport en lange tijd zat mijn leven in een stijgende lijn.

<div>Naast het sporten gebruik ik ook graag mijn hoofd om mensen te helpen. In de afgelopen jaren ben ik daarom begonnen aan de Bachelor International and European Law aan de Haagse Hogeschool. Ik volg de studie met veel plezier en toewijding en heb alle vakken die ik volgde direct behaald. De stijgende lijn in mijn leven werd hard onderbroken toen ik in de afgelopen jaren in korte tijd mijn zoon en moeder verloor. In die periode was in terug in Gambia. Ik raakte down, stopte met sporten en begon achter te lopen met mijn studie en betalingen.

<div>Dankzij support van vrienden en familie ben ik nu weer op een punt gekomen dat ik fulltime werk als bezorger en mijn studie wil afmaken. Alle vakken zijn behaald, het gaat alleen nog om een laatste opdracht. Hiervoor moet ik een heel jaar collegegeld 2025-2026 betalen (€2.601) voor 1 september 2025. Ondanks mijn fulltime werk lukt het mij niet om dit zelfstandig te doen. Ik hoop via deze weg voldoende middelen bij elkaar te sprokkelen om de studie te kunnen afronden.
