Help Hope Pay For College

Hi, Hope here!

As many of you know, I am in my second year at Clemson University. I'm pursuing a degree in Biology and hope to attend medical school and fulfill my dream of becoming a Pediatric General Surgeon. I have overcome many obstacles to get to this point and have been extremely blessed in so many ways.
I have never been one to shy away from sharing my story. My biological mother suffered from a severe drug addiction starting when I was very young and my sister and I were removed from her care when I was 9 years old. We were placed in the care of our paternal grandparents (my wonderful Memaw and Papaw), where we stayed for the following 3 years. After that, we moved between family members' and friends' homes until I was given the amazing opportunity to attend my dream school.
While at school, I joined Kappa Delta sorority and became involved with volunteering and raising money for Prevent Child Abuse America and the Girl Scouts, while also making the most amazing friends. I was on the executive board for Clemson Miracle, the student organization on Clemson's campus that raises money for the Greenville Children's Hospital, and helped raise over $127,000 this past April for the kids. This was on top of working a full time job, going to school full time, and maintaining a 3.0 GPA for the semester.
I started working at the age of 16 and paid for anything beyond the roof over my head and the food on the table. I started to work because of my passion for dance, so that I could pay the dance bill. I, with the help of some sponsors, was able to pay to compete at Miss South Carolina Teen and Miss SC Teen USA while in high school. Beyond that, I became all but financially independent at 17. The Lord provided for me so faithfully with jobs that paid well enough for me to pay my bills and take care of myself.

But, to continue pursuing my dream, I need help. I have asked many people to cosign on a student loan so I could fund my education for this year but I have had no success finding someone able to help. Financial aid is not enough to cover my tuition or room and board. I am putting my pride aside and reaching out for financial help to pay my tuition.
My bill total for the fall semester is just short of $12,000. Financial aid is covering $5,710 of it. The bill is due on September 15 and I am trusting in the Lord's promises to provide. He would not let me come this far to lose my chance at fulfilling my dreams.
If you are able to give, words will never be able to say how grateful I am for your help and support. Anything helps, even $5.
