College Student: Robbed and Quarantined

Donation protected
My name is Talia Emerson, I am a second year college student. I am 19 years old and dependent on myself which has become more than difficult since I have  returned to college. To start off my sophomore year of college, I decided to rent a house with my sister and two others in Springfield, Missouri. My share of the rent is 384 dollars, which includes trash, internet, and other living expenses. My first week in class, I was put on a mandatory quarantine because of contact with someone close to me who tested positive for COVID-19. This set my finances back in a major way, with no income from being unable to work for almost three weeks. This has forced my rent to become backed up by two months. While in quarantine, me and my sisters car was robbed and wiped clean, in it was over 2,000 dollars, clothes, shoes and bags. When we filed the robbery our insurance increased and none of our items were returned to us. I still have other expenses to pay for, such as phone bills, food, gas, sickle cell anemia accommodations, and ETC.
To top it all off I have a 600 dollar ticket that has become difficult to pay because of the pandemic.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your support. If anything, just send a small prayer to me during this time!
