College Prep Institute

My name is Kihirha Coleman and I live in New Jersey. I am a sophmore and honor roll student at Camden Big Picture Learning Academy. Every marking period we complete exhibitions which are 45 minute presentations.  For my last exhibition we were required to complete college research; however, I was unsure of what college I wanted to attend.  Particularly, I had an interest in HBCUs. During my reasearch, I discovered Spelman College and was interested in their academic  program. My  goal is  to be the first person in my family to attend college. In order to accomplish this goal, I need your support with funding for the summer College Prep Institute at Spelman College.  

The College Prep Institute (CPI) is a two-week residential program for female high school students who are college-bound rising sophomores and juniors seeking an exceptional experience to launch their college search process. CPI empowers female high school students to achieve acceptance into the college of their choice.
