College Fund for Milani

Thank you so much for taking time to read my story. My name is Planetta, I am a mother and grandmother of to two beautiful ladies. I am asking to help fund the future of my granddaughter who just lost her father.

We just celebrated a wonderful Christmas and thought such a challenging year was over and excited for a new year around the corner , Unfortunately we would face a heart break to end the year.  My family was faced with a untimely death of Bayron my granddaughter’s father on December 28 we were informed that he passed away at his home in New York details have yet to be released. He leaves behind a 6 year old daughter named Milani. She resides in Florida with her mom so she had a long distance but strong relationship with her father. She just spoke with him via zoom on Christmas. Milani was so excited to share those moments with him. Little did we know they would be the last, it is very difficult to explain to a young child that they have lost a parent especially when the death is unknown , so there’s no explanation to help her understand that she will not be able to speak to him again.. We are now faced with a difficult challenge of her mother Lashanda raising her without the support of her father. I am asking friends and family to help me with starting a go fund to take care of Milani and start a college account to help send her to college. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
