College Fund for Nef

After much prayer, Mark and I believe God wants us to sponsor Nephtali (Nef) Saint Fleur to come to the US for her college education.  Some of you know Nef.  She has been my interpreter for my Women’s Conferences in Haiti since 2010.  She speaks five languages and is a remarkable Christian young lady.

 Nef graduated high school from Sonlight Academy in Port-De-Paix, Haiti, which was founded by the Alexanders who are from the states.  Kentucky Christian University has a scholarship program for students from Sonlight Academy to come to the states and get their degree.  I have contacted Sonlight Academy and they are working with KCU to get Nef approved to start the second semester of this school year.  Nef’s desire is to be in the nursing program.

 KCU is offering Nef’s education “tuition free” for all four years.  She just has to have a sponsor, which is where Mark and I come in.  The scary part of all this is that the sponsor has to pay for all the fees, books, and room/board.  Those total $10,000 per year.  We will also be paying for a flight to get her here and money for the visa, which should be around $750.

I am asking you to prayerfully consider contributing to the education of this amazing young Haitian girl.  We appreciate all the prayers and help you can give.
