Colleen McNamara

IBEW sister out of L.U. 553 Raleigh, NC, Colleen McNamara ticket no. 7834785, who is a second year apprentice and working out of L.U. 776 Charleston, SC,  at the time was severely injured after falling approximately 12 feet. Colleen’s right side took the major impact and damage. On that side, she fractured her eye socket, has broken most of her ribs, her wrist, and also her pelvis. Colleen also hit her head on the concrete ground very hard and has had cranial bleeding, confusion, speech difficulty and has been in the ICU since the injury occurred. 

We are so grateful that Colleen is expected to recover, and will be downgraded from ICU in the next days. While she is fortunate to have some of the best benefits in the country, Colleen needs help with her living expenses over her months of recovery. We want Colleen to only focus on healing and recovering, and if any financial concern can be taken from her, we want to help.

The family already overwhelmingly appreciates the love and support of the members of the IBEW, NECA, and the JATC.  Colleen is a very active member of the local and always willing to help anytime something was asked of her and now we would like to rally behind her in her time of need.
