Collecting for Care Baskets

I am working to put together care baskets for each family of one of our fallen Marines here at Camp Lejeune. Right now the commands, USO and many other organizations are a heavy presence and support but in the coming weeks things will calm and reality will hit and these families will need to be reminded they are still loved and supported by our community. If you would like to give toward filling these 7 baskets please feel free to do so. They will not be delivered until the month mark post accident for the purpose stated above. A back story on myself for those that don't know me, I am a surviving spouse of a US marine whom I lost back in 2015. I remember the first weeks being a blur and overwhelmed with support and about a month out things became quiet and it felt like the world was turning and mine was still. My hope in offering these gifts later will bridge the gap for these widows so they feel the love and support for days ahead when they can pull out a gift card and feed their families because just cooking a meal is too much.
