Help Colin pay for vital treatment

This is Colin, who many of you know.
Since returning from a blissful retreat in Portugal in September 2016, Colin’s life has been turned on its head. Within five days of returning, he’d contracted whooping cough. At its peak, he broke two ribs – causing intense pain during the disabling coughing fits - and for three months, was regularly coughing so hard he vomited.
Still too exhausted to lead his life as he had before, in January 17, he began to bleed rectally. By the time the doctors took notice of the symptoms, he was bleeding so profusely that he was considered an emergency. The doctors’ diagnosis was Crohn’s disease and/or colitis – both serious autoimmune diseases.
Western medicine isn’t great at treating auto-immune diseases. Often, treatment is focused on the symptoms rather than the root cause, and the NHS is currently under such strain that the care available is often not able to meet the need. This is definitely the case for Colin. The chemo treatment offered gave him pancreatitis and the second option gave him drug-induced lupus (yet another auto-immune disease).
Shortly after this diagnosis, he found he’d lost the ability to lift his feet properly and fell a few times. An echo-cardiogram showed that one of the top chambers of his heart is in fibrillation – fluttering instead of pumping.
In short, Colin’s body is ailing and struggling with viral and auto-immune disease, his heart and gut are compromised, his lungs are filling up with fluid because of the weak heart pumping and without the right treatment, his prognosis isn’t good. He’s getting weaker with this life-limiting condition and it’s time to ask for help.
With help from informed friends, Colin’s found a non-NHS and non-traditional treatment – GcMAF - that will help him recover. It’s a controversial treatment. Its supporters argue that it’s immensely effective, and that Big Pharma has discredited it. Pharmaceutical companies aren’t keen and are challenging the scientific studies done.
