Thank you to the many friends and family who have prayed for us and continue to stand with us for a miracle for our son. We covet and appreciate your prayers for Cole and our family.
It’s been almost 3 years since Cole was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome at the age of 8. CRPS is a rare neurological disorder that is believed to be caused by damage to or malfunction of the peripheral and central nervous systems. Characterized by prolonged excessive pain & changes in skin color, temperature & swelling in the affected area, the level of pain is measured as one of the most severe on the McGill University Pain Scale.
A door has been opened for our son to attend the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a very specialized clinic where doctors have worked with 300 CRPS patients and are seeing great results. It currently is the only clinic in the world that offers the combination of treatments Cole will be receiving. We are looking forward to our son starting treatment on August 19th and excited for a future filled with hope and promises fulfilled. We believe this is an opportunity from God and an answer to our prayer that “He who began a good work in Cole will carry it out to its full completion”. Philippians 1:6
The cost is $3000 per week, not including living expenses. We are so grateful for the love and support you have extended towards our family over the past 3 years. If you feel impressed to give toward medical expenses we would be grateful.
