I've been accepted into Lysa TerKeurst's Book Proposal Bootcamp and I would greatly appreciate your support in helping me fund this incredible opportunity in my journey of writing and publishing a book!
Lysa TerKeurst is one of the most prominent Christian authors and speakers and she is the founder of Proverbs 31 Ministries. Last year she announced the creation of a new book imprint called COMPEL, which operates under Thomas Nelson Publishing — one of the largest Christian book publisher in the world. With it, she is offering 100 aspiring authors to participate in an intense 10-week course full of training and teaching to prepare a book proposal that can eventually be sent to agents and publishers.
There were nearly 1,000 applicants to this program and I was one of 100 who were chosen!
This program will offer me the opportunity to talk with publishers from Thomas Nelson and at the end, 10 people will be chosen to submit their proposals to the publishing board at Thomas Nelson. A handful of those will be awarded book deals, and mine could be one of them!
If it isn't, that's completely okay, because this training is top-of-the-line training that some of the most prominent and successful authors have gone through. I will still come out of it with a book proposal ready to send to agents and publishers all over the world, which is incredible!
