Cole’s 3560ft walk up Mount Snowden

Some people will be aware, some people won’t. 1.5 years ago Mandy was diagnosed with kidney failure which has been a massive roller coaster for everyone. There’s currently a long way to go, and given that I’m sure she loves sleeping there, it’s proved to be extremely difficult in a global pandemic! We all know the NHS is massively stretched and if anyone has had loved ones in hospital you will understand how difficult it is to receive any communication or to feel like you are supporting, which is what leads us on to this challenge. Cole (aged 7) has agreed that he would like to raise money for BK Heroes on behalf of his Mummy. This is a local charity which has been a massive help to us as a family, at a time that we have desperately needed it. Cole will be challenging himself and walking up snowdon which will be a massive challenge for him and those skinny little legs . The money he raises will contribute towards supporting families that are in a similar situation. We hope that this will help to connect families at a time where it is so difficult, and where you can’t actually visit. We raise money to fund much needed research into these life threatening conditions and to help families who are suffering with them.
