Cole Malone is a very special 9 year old boy whose Leukmia has relapsed (returned) and again has a long, hard battle with this terrible illness. Cole was originally diagnosed with Pre-B ALL Leukemia when he was 2 years old. After 3.5 years of chemotherapy treatment, Cole's Leukemia was gone and he and our family returned to a normal life. After nearly 5 years of being cancer free, Cole's Leukemia returned. Now 9 years old, Cole has started a new treatment plan that will either be another multi-year chemotherapy treatment plan or a bone marrow transplant.
