Cole McKenzie- Born 4/2/1992. This is so hard to write. How do explain in words- how truly amazing, my quirky, loving, kind, beautiful, child is about to leave his earthly body. For the last month we have been in the hospital. I can’t explain how many tears have been shed. How many times I have asked myself “ why” - Cole had the kindest spirit, would reach out to strangers suffering from mental illness, started support group for ppl suffering from depression. While trying to help others he let his depression get the best of him. My heart hurts in ways I never fathomed it could. This world is loosing a Big brother, a Wonderful musician ( he taught himself to play guitar) started a band “Cathedral Hill’s “, I am loosing my son. I admired Cole in so many ways, we didn’t always see eye to eye on topics, but it didn’t matter. He was such an open minded - willing to help and listen to another point of view. It’ feels like I am In a bad dream and can’t wake up. Cole will be missed dearly by so many. I am hoping to give him something special for his celebration of life. Pls help me give Cole the celebration he de-serves.
