Colden's Cosmic Charity Challenge

Year 5/6 wanted to host an amazing charity event to raise money for some really important charities near us. We will run three marathons as a whole school. Year 5/6 will even do it in three-legged!

To top it off we will also have a sale inside Colden School where people can buy knitwear and cakes! Carers and parents can donate things that may help such as money, clothes, cat or dog food, and toothbrushes. So as well as having fun we will also be giving things to charity!

One of our charities is PAWS (Pennine Animal Welfare Society) which cares for amazing animals like cats and dogs, but if no one donates they may not be able to carry on any more so please donate. We want you to donate money, cat and dog food.

Our other charity is St. Augustines which is in Halifax. It takes refugees and gives them a home to live in. For them we are going to try and donate clothes, shoes, money and toiletries

(but make sure the toiletries are new).
