Colby's Vet care

After being hospitalized for 3 days and being sent home with inaccurate medical advice (including medication that could be harmful considering his actual condition) Colby has had to get emergency surgery to remove a blockage/obstruction in the small intestines. He has also developed aspiration pneumonia which will involve antibiotics for awhile following surgery recovery. 

Colby has been our three-legged best pal for almost four years now. He is there to greet us with a smile and tail wag every day and snuggle every night. He has provided so much emotional support through various life transitions.

While this experience has been stressful, we could not stand the thought of not being able to afford to save his life. 

We initially planned to use savings for his treatment, unfortunately due to him spending 3 days in hospital before the surgery the bill has become a burden. Any funds raised will go to pay off credit card debt acquired to pay for the emergency operation and follow up care.

We have been lucky enough to put the charges on a credit card that is not due immediately, and hope to work on finding funds over the next few months. 

Any donation is so very much appreciated by our family  and especially by Colby's brother Chewie (the cat) who misses him very much and hopes he comes home soon.
