Colby's Fund

Dear family and friends of Colby and Veronica As you all know, Colby recived a new Kidney last year. With that, Colby had to take many medication's and Some of those meds made his immune system very weak. On September 26, Colby was hospitalized. After a few days, Colby was having trouble breathing and was placed on a brething tube and admitted to ICU. After MANY tests, on October 8 Colby was diagnosed with West Nile. As we all know, there is no cure for West Nile and with Colby's immune system being compromised, his body was having a hard time fighting on its own. The Dr's and Nurses are doing everything to make him comfortable and are helping him fight this. Colby is doing better every day since figuring out the cause. At this time, Veronica & Colby need your help through this tough time. As most of you can imagine, this is very hard to deal with. With that being said, Veronica ask that, if you have any questions to please direct them to Leslie. Veronica knows that Colby has many family and friends that care about him very much, she just ask that everyone not overwhelm them at this time. Dr's also request that he not have visitors other than his wife, due to time of year and Colby's immune system being weak. Colby is a fighter and keeps fighting and I will have updates as they come.
