Aufgrund gesetzlicher Kontaktbeschränkungen waren wir gezwungen, unsere Formate fast ausschließlich online anzubieten und konnten deshalb kaum noch Einnahmen generieren. Wir sind ein gemeinnütziger Verein und alle im Team arbeiten ehrenamtlich, trotzdem haben wir laufende Kosten, die wir bis zur nächsten Förderungsrunde im Mai nicht mehr decken können. COLA TAXI OKAY ist ein Projektraum, der einen Ort für interkulturelle Begegnungen, Austausch und kreatives Arbeiten schafft. Wir ermöglichen gegenseitige kulturelle Integration in vielfältiger Form und für jede:n – für alle Interessierten mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund, für alteingesessene Karlsruher:innen und Neuankömmlinge.

 

Der Raum im Zentrum von Karlsruhe existiert seit 2016 und war bis zu Beginn der Corona-Pandemie Austragungsort für vielfältige Events, wie z.B. Workshops, Lesungen, Theater, Ausstellungen, Kochabende, Musik- und Tanzveranstaltungen.

Due to legal contact restrictions, we were forced to offer our formats almost exclusively online and were therefore hardly able to generate any revenue. We are a non-profit organization and everyone on the team works voluntarily, but we still have running costs that we won't be able to cover until the next round of funding in May. COLA TAXI OKAY is a space for intercultural exchange and creative work. We enable mutual cultural integration in a variety of forms and for everyone - for all interested people with and without a migration background, for long-time residents of Karlsruhe and newcomers.

 

The space in the center of Karlsruhe has existed since 2016 and was a location for diverse events, such as workshops, readings, theater, exhibitions, cooking evenings, music and dance events until the beginning of the Corona pandemic.
