I will be running the Cork City Marathon on the 3rd of June 2018 in aid of the charity “Cois Nore” which provides support to cancer sufferers and their families in Kilkenny.
On the 16th of June last my mother, Maura Roche passed away after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer. During this period she used the supports provided by Cois Nore and I am hugely grateful that they were there to support her during this time and I know she valued the services.
I would like to raise as much money as possible to ensure that the team in Cois Nore can continue to help cancer sufferers and their families in the future. Please give as generously as you can to help support this great cause.
Cois Nore (Kilkenny Cancer Support Services) are a team of people based in Kilkenny City who are involved and committed to the provision of what they see as essential services to cancer sufferers and their families. Established in 2013, they are a group of individuals who have come together in order to improve the lives and well-being of those coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis.
