Support Cohoba! Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Support psychedelic science and culture in Charlotte! Cohoba is a BIPOC-led collective of psychedelic-positive therapists, body workers, advocates, and artists. We are a 501c3 nonprofit structured as a community therapy center. We are housed within the VAPA Center.

Cohoba is raising money to advance our mission and vision. Your donation contributes to harm reduction and community education through the lens of psychedelic-assisted therapy, a re-emerging therapeutic paradigm recently designated as a “breakthrough therapy” by the FDA. Over the last five years, we have poured ourselves into our mission of bringing psychedelic science and community mental health to Charlotte. In 2021, we secured office space, onboarded members, enrolled 3 of our mental health clinicians in the MAPS MDMA Therapy Training, and finalized our 501(c)3 paperwork! We hold monthly Cohoba Society meetings to provide a safe space for folks to discuss their questions and experiences regarding psychedelic substances. CohobaFest was a success, and we plan to expand the event in September 2023. So far, most of these efforts have been funded through our personal resources. Any donation you make today, no matter how large or small, will help bring our vision to life.
