Cats of Hagerstown is a local business and Non-profit organization created by two high school seniors with a passion for felines.
Cats of Hagerstown is dedicated in providing a better quality of living for cats in the Washington County area of Western Maryland, as well as supporting the area's humane society in any cat related needs that they may have. The organization provides funds to the local humane society to ensure proper care is provided to felines that are currently housed there. Our website has been seen around the county and we have received numerous encouragements from viewers and donors to support our cause. So far our message has reached across parts of Maryland, Ohio, New York and reaching down into Florida.
To fund the organization, we design unique logos on shirts and hats and market it for a profit utilizing social media and word of mouth. The funds accumulated are funnelled then to the locale humane society. 100% of the profits made from shirts and hats goes directly towards the care of felines. The humane society procures food, litter, toys, and any necessities for their care.
Our goal is to increase the donation to the organization in order to provide more veterinary care to as many felines that the fund can support.
Our next big step is to attain legal help to register our organization and turn it into a non-profit organization and become a tax-deductable organization. All donations to our organization will not only help the felines but the donors as well. We understand that this task will cost a significant sum of money to do so we ask for your help in this endeavor. Your donations will be used to help us gain legal documentation and aid us in our mission in helping the cats. Local lawyers in our area estimate that we will need at least the requested amount to complete the process.
