On June 8, 2017, the most beautiful, dark haired, baby boy was born to my brother, Joe Albanese and his girlfriend, Kelsie Carpenter. They named him Cohen Elwin Albanese and were in awe of his beauty and the love they immediately felt for him. They got to enjoy 6 blissful days with their precious newborn, when he passed away unexpectedly. We are all left wondering “why?” We still do not have answers.
Our arms ache to hold him. We long to breathe in the sweet smell of his head and to hear the sound of his voice. He had full pouty lips, like his mama, and an intense gaze, with dark eyes, we were sure would turn a deep blue, like his dad's.
We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support that has been shown to Joe and Kelsie, and their family during this time. Some have asked how else they can help.
We are setting up this Gofundme account for those of you that would like to offer your support to Joe & Kelsie financially. The money will be used for anything they need to move though this time of mourning, such as bills, grief counseling, services, fees, time off from work and so on. No donation is too small. Please help us spread the word far and wide, so we may lift, from them, just a small part of the burden they carry.
