Santikan Elementary is a remote school in Carmen, Cebu that serves 107 students. We're aiming to raise $6,000.00 to provide clothes, school supplies, hygiene kits, laptops, furniture, and an initial phase of painting and repairs.
Both Coding Avenue and Illuminate Education employees will travel to Santikan Elementary to distribute the goods, meet the kids, and help improve their education.
Our time there will also be used to plan phase 2, which will include structural improvements to the premise including a new library room. We currently estimate those repairs will cost $9,000.00 with the aid of local contractors and carpenters.
