As students of a public all-girls school in New York City, we are on a mission to connect with students around the world to help them gain access to computer science education. Last year, we raised funding to travel to Mendoza, Argentina to teach computer science to teachers and students at a partner school there. We donated supplies and computers so they could continue learning to code long after we left.
This year, we will travel to Zambia where we hope to replicate what we’ve done in Argentina. Our next partner school in Zambia works with albino and visually-impaired girls. We're excited to collaborate with our new partner school and continue expanding Coding Exchange!
