Cocos Cancer Journey

On June 22, 2017 I was given some of the worst news about my beloved 10 year old Yorkie Coco, she had bladder cancer and required emergency surgery to remove the tumour. Coco is now home in pampers as she has to regain the strength of her bladder. Coco is the love of my life, I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for her to make sure she is well. I can't believe I have to ask for help and appreciate that you are taking the time to read our story. The medical professionals call this TCC and it is an uncommon cancer only accounting for 2% of all cancer cases in canines. Im currently working 3 jobs to pay off Cocos vet bills which have accumulated above and beyond $5000.00 (still requiring further medical management) and would appreciate any help anyone could offer Coco as I am doing my best to ensure Coco doesn't suffer. I encourage anyone with a beloved pet to get pet insurance because you never know what can happen. I never thought in my wildest dreams this would happen to my Coco and here it is happening to us. Coco is the most loving dog you could possibly imagine and it breaks my heart that I'm kept away from her during this time when she still has a chance for a good quality of life no matter how short or long.
