Hi my name is Kathy and I'm fundraising on behalf of a very good friend of mine Pat.

It's with absolute great sadness that today Pat received a telephone call from the vets confirming the most devastating news about one of her beloved Frenchies, Coco,

Pat had noticed that Coco who is only 5 years old, was unwell and took her to the vets. It was found that she had 5 lumps in her glands and that this is a high grade cancer and gave her just 4 weeks to live.

This has devastated Pat and the whole family and they want to at least try to give her the best possible chance of recovery from this horrible disease, and this will involve Chemotherapy which is going to cost £350.00 per session, plus medication, the chemo will initially be each week for two months and then every fortnight thereafter (the vet has confirmed it to be a 90% success rate) but to give Coco the best chance means having to raise £7000 for the chemotherapy treatment required. Pat does have insurance for Coco which will cover some things but until speaking to the insurance company, she won't know exactly. If we find that the whole amount we are asking isn't required (after speaking to the insurance) we will adjust the amount being asked to raise.

As a friend I am hoping to be able to help raise the much needed funds to enable Coco to get the treatment she so desperately needs.
