Coastal Soul's Grand Opening

My name is LaNicia. I am the founder/owner of Coastal Soul. Coastal Soul shares love through fresh and local ingredients providing an intimate in-home soul food dining experience.

I am raising money to get Coastal Soul fully functional. I have found a building with a certified kitchen I can use as a commissary. A commissary is an established commercial kitchen where  food service providers can go to prepare and store food.

I will use the raised funds for these items:

Business registration with state of Oregon, city of Nehalem
Deposit and rent for lease of building
Liability insurance
2 new (or slightly used) stoves
Food utensils and supplies
Advertising

I moved to the Oregon Coast two years ago not knowing I would eventually start my own business. Coastal Soul grew out of my love of God and people, feeding those I met who I wanted to share my love of life with. I now have the opportunity to share this wonderful experience with thousands who not only flock to the beautiful Oregon coast for vacation, but for the many people who live here locally who have opened their communities and hearts to me over the past two years.

I could not have begun this effort without many people who have encouraged me to continue the "soul food movement" that has brought love and life through every bite.
