Coastal Mermaid & Pirate Club

The Coastal Mermaid & Pirate Club is a social and vocational training club for adults with developmental disabilities. The participants meet weekly and learn many valuable life skills coupled with developing life long friendships! They plan their menus each week and prepare their own lunches, make arts and crafts that they bring to the local farmers market for donations , and play games and socialize to build friendships, problem solving skills, communication skills, and increased social skills.

This group saves the small amount of money they make selling their crafts for special events and social activities; although their supplies, lunches, birthday parties, and other essentials are not funded. 

We have set set up this go fund me page to ask for assistance with our essentials. There is not a fee associated with this club, as it is all volunteer based and we never ask a participant to pay our of pocket for participating.  At the present time, and in the foreseeable future, there are no funding sources for our wonderful program. With the thoughtfulness and generosity of people like yourself, andwe can continue to have our fantastic Coastal Mermaid & Pirate Club Without limitations! Thank you in advance!
