The coastal bend of Texas was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Many schools were affected as a result but Rockport, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Ingleside, Refugio, and Woodsboro received extensive damage after the category 4 hurricane made landfall on August 25th 2017. These towns are going to need as much help as possible from all and our goal is to raise money for the athletic departments at each of these schools. I can't just sit back and watch. Many of the booster club members have lost their homes which will slow down fundraising efforts and It'll take months for insurance money to come in. Friday Night Football has always played a major role in bringing these communities together. It has always been a source of pride and the hurricane has caused many problems right here at the beginning of the 2017 football season. Getting these great young men playing a game they love as soon as possible will help these communities heal. Our plan is to raise at least $80k and distribute equal amounts to each athletic department for whatever they need to get this season going. I live in Austin but I've been visiting the coastal bend my entire life on business and pleasure. I know all the coaches down there and they are great guys doing great jobs. These athletic departments will need new press boxes, field houses, lights, scoreboards, socks, shirts, shoes, and equipment. Give generously and if you get the chance, head on down to the Texas coast and watch some great football this season. Thanks for your support!
