Coast-to-Coast Ride for Kids

Coast to Coast for Kids – A 250-mile ride across Florida to support our youth!

Please help me raise funds for two very important groups of young people this summer!  One of my favorite things about the church I serve (Pine Island United Methodist Church) is the heart our people have for reaching out to and investing in the youth of our community.  This summer, our youth group is sending fourteen kids to summer camp.  For all but a couple of these kids, this will be their first trip to summer camp because they come from families who don’t have the resources to send them. It has been several years since we took a group like this to camp and we believe it has the potential to be life-changing for them. Our church is going to make it happen, but we need your help!

Also, our after-school program called P.I.L.O.T. (Pine Island Leaders of Tomorrow) is sponsoring a summer-trip for our after-school kids to Orlando.  This is a really big deal for them to celebrate their hard work all school-year long.  Part of our program is that our students spend many hours completing service projects in our community.  They have and continue to raise their own money for the trip but they need help and I want to do what I can!

Here’s my skin in the game.  A big part of me being on a positive path early in my life is youth programs and especially some summer trips I was a part of as a teen.  As I result, I am passionate about helping other young people have these kinds of experiences. I’m so proud of these kids and I want them to know I’m behind them 100%!

So I’m committing to ride across Florida in June and I would really love it if you would sponsor my ride and support these young people I love!

My goal is to raise $5,000 to help the kids reach their goal.  Please help us make their dream a reality!
