Coaches for students to the People’s Vote March

We are delighted to announce that we have reached our goal of raising £2000 for student transport to the #PeoplesVote march on October 19th.

We have decided to leave this campaign open and welcome any further donations which will be used for further campaigning by the Young Europeans Canterbury.


Original Post:

We are raising money to organise free coaches to take students from the University of Kent to People's Vote March on the 19th of October.

We had over 500 students sign-up during freshers fair to join us on the march on the 19th of October. £2000 would allow us to organise 3 coaches to take 150 students free of charge to the demonstration. 

Many of these students did not get a say in the EU referendum. Their vote is vital in the next general election and one way to promote this is by encouraging attendance to political events.

Any money exceeding our target will be used to further campaigning by the Young Europeans Canterbury.
