Warriors Football Program

My name is Armando Duran and I am the Head Varsity Football Coach at a low income high school located in the back of the yards neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. We are in dire need of funding for our newly developed football program. The neighborhood our students live in has a way of pulling these young teens in many different directions. Our students face many obstacles and negative influences on a day to day basis. I know I do not have to tell you but the streets of Chicago are becoming less and less conducive to the development of our youth. As a P.E. Teacher, Football Coach, and athlete, I know the positive impact sports can have on developing young teens such as the ones I coach.

As Educators and coaches we do everything we can for our youth to succeed in all that they do, so I am reaching out to you for help! Please help support our football program so that we can keep our players off the streets of Chicago and engaged in a positive activity that promotes teamwork, leadership, self-esteem, and responsibility, such as football.

Your donation will help Our Football Program purchase football equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to helmets, shoulder pads, blocking/tackling dummies, footballs, uniforms, and other miscellaneous equipment. Our goal is to ensure that every player has adequate safety and training equipment needed to compete to the best of our ability.
