<div>When Coach Carriero retired from coaching track &amp; field in June 2019 after 48 years, he established a scholarship to annually award two deserving graduating track &amp; field athletes. Each winner is selected based on the qualities of academic and athletic excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, mentoring younger athletes and an unmatched will to win.
