Coach Chucks Living/Medical Costs

This GoFundMe was created with the intention of raising money for Charles "Coach Chuck" Jarnick.
Oscar Gomez and Alisa Sabshin are helping collect funds and cash checks. ALL donations go directly to Chuck for his needs. 

Those who know Coach Chuck are very aware of what a dedicated, passionate and giving person he is.

Coach Chuck has helped thousands of people for over 30 years as a Hockey / Sports Specialist for children and adults and has a special place in his heart for all the children with special needs he has connected with. Coach Chuck's style of training, teaching the body to train the mind, is very special and unique. Coach Chuck always helps everyone find a self-confidence within themselves through sports to realize that anyone can do anything if they try their best and have fun while achieving their goals.

Coach Chuck has always been there to give everything, above and beyond, for his friends, all of the programs and clinics he has instructed, his volunteer work, and especially for his students.

I'm hoping that this message will get to everyone Coach Chuck has helped over the years. Now he needs our help.

Coach Chuck has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), an incurable disease that causes the death of neurons that control voluntary muscles.

Over the past six months, Coach Chuck’s health has been declining. He has lost the ability to use his hands and his ability to walk is rapidly deteriorating. Coach Chuck is unable to work and is permanently disabled. He is unable to care for himself without assistance, is unable to pay for a place to live and is going to be evicted soon. He has been trying to obtain government assistance but it appears he will become homeless before he can receive any help. 

We are trying to get him in to an assisted living facility as he will need 24-hour care soon.  He has no family to assist him and will need increasing levels of care as time goes on.
