Heaven rejoiced at the welcoming of Madison Grace Bowen on August 5, 2014 at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston, TX. Madison was 10 months old, and courageously fought a tough battle with several health issues from infancy, but always blessed others with her radiant smile and loving personality.
Madison bravely endured two heart surgeries, multiple procedures, as well as issues with aspiration, hypothyroidism and the rare medical condition of pulmonary vein stenosis, which is highly fatal in children. Funds raised in her memory will go towards settling her final medical expenses, and all other money raised will be donated to Texas Childrens Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Department in Memory of Madison Grace Bowen. These donations will allow TX Childrens Hospital to continue in the research and treatment of children with cardiac-related diseases. Though Madison is no longer with us, your support and prayers will allow her legacy to help other children and families with this rare medical disorder.
