Kord's Road To Recovery Fund

This handsome young man is Kord Krieger. This fund was put together for him because he is in need of assistance from kind hearted people to help pay for medical expenses. Kord is currently hospitalized in ICU after sustaining injuries when he was a passanger in a vehicle that was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Kord does not have Health Insurance. Kord and his identical twin brother Kyle just turned 19 years old. They both just leased and moved into their very own apartment one month ago. They've both had a rough road they've had to struggle down recently. They unexpectedely lost their brother 3.5 years ago , their father 2.5 years ago, the family dog, their mother was stabbed by her husband while they were home and they both had to tend to her while she bled and couldn't breath due to the puncture wound  her lung received 2.5 years ago. While experiencing one traumatic event after another they attended High School and graduated. When they were not in school they were working to help support their mother.
Kord has always been determined. Determination is what he will need to get through yet another very traumatic experience in his life.

On 8/3/2014 at aproximately 1:00 am the vehicle Kord was riding in crashed into the back of a tractor trailer that had stopped in the roadway on I95. Kord was a passenger riding in the back seat of a truck driven by his cousin. Unfortunately neither occupants were wearing their safety belts. Due to the severe impact of the crash Kord was thrown from the back seat into the windshield and was found by State Police when they arrived on scene upside down and unconscience in the back of the truck. It appeared that Kord's head actually went through the windshield before his body was flung back into the rear seat area. After they were both recovered from the vehicle Rescue rushed them to the hospital.

Kord was immediately rushed into the Operating Room when he arrived at Mary Washington Hospital. Surgeons operated for 12 hours and three surgical procedures were completed. The longest procedure that took place was a facial surgery, which was the first of several plastic surgeries that he will need to minimize the presence of scars he will be left with on his face. Kord was moved to ICU where he was induced into a mild coma state to provide his body the opportunity to begin healing.
Kord sustained multiple injuries to include:
Both elbows and both shoulders are broken
Left arm is broken
Two broken lower vertabraes
11 Broken Ribs
Ruptured Spleen that was removed in surgery
Punctured Lung
Unknown amount of staples and stitches in face/head.
Left eye lid was ripped completely off and was sewn shut until another lid is reconstructed. There is a possibility Kord could be blind in that eye, it will be examined once another lid is constructed to replace what surgeons have substituted in place  

Currently Kord is under sedation and is battling Phemonia.  He is still admitted in ICU and is back on a ventalation tube. 

Again, Kord does not have any health insurance. All donations will be used soley for Kord's recovery process and expenses. Kord will need several surgeries to repair his body and he is predicted to need at least 3 more plastic surgeries to reconstruct his face. He will go through physical therapy and will have a therapist working with him through the emotional coping process.

Please help. Kord needs to have full focus on his recovery when he wakes and starts to process everything, Instead of how much his expenses are calculating. He will be out of work recovering from his injuries for quite a while as well, with no income. You can help him  Even a $1.00 contribution would be extremely appreciated.
