Get me back home!

November 8th 2016. The day that changed America and the night that my life began it's unravelling. I was admitted to the hospital for my third and fourth stents that Tuesday.  I awoke that evening to the news of the 45th being selected. I also started bleeding from my main artery at about the same time. Thankfully I was heavily sedated but I still felt the enormous pressure of doctors and nurses trying to stop me from bleeding to death. The bruises remained for weeks. Despite taking typed lists of all medications I was ingesting the doctors prescribed blood thinners on top of the heavy aspirin dose I was taking.  I returned to my job at the U.S.P.S. but I could tell my health was not right. After several weeks of passing blood and growing weak I knew I could no longer work for the Post Office. The job was just too physically stressful. After two trips to the E.R. to receive two units of blood I was still severely anemic. By now we are in December and it is high "season" here in the valley. I was able to pay my bills and get by through selling music online , doing Lyft and working part time at the airport. Fast forward to April and the "season" comes to an end here in sunny California. The airport job dries up, the snowbirds flee back home and I start falling behind in my bills. Over the next five months I fall behind in rent, car payments and my credit goes from perfect to hideous. Finally in September I find a job, season is about to begin again. But the clock has about ran out on me and my luck. I'm facing eviction any day now, this past week I lost my beloved Mr. Phoenix and then had my first car accident (thankfully no one was hurt). Over the last two months I've been able to sell most of my possessions and get the rest into a storage unit. My sister tells me I'm strong but I've hit rock bottom and can't seem to find a way out. After losing Mr. Phoenix I even contemplated the unthinkable. I went so far as to call a suicide hotline for help. I came home tonight after walking and taking a two hour bus trip  to and from work half expecting my electric to be shut off. Despite all of God's gifts I'm still in dire straits. I thought moving out here would be a perfect change for me after losing Keith and my family members. I thought it would be a fresh start. I have no family here and need to get back to the midwest where I have family and friends that I miss and love and need. I worry that my health won't hold up and if I suffer another heart problem I'll be here alone and might not make it.  I figure I need to raise $5,000 to rent a truck and move myself back to the midwest. I have family that I can move in with until I can get back on my feet. Yes I would be coming back with no car and no job but at least I'd have a chance to get back on the right track. I've always had pride and it humbles me to ask for help. But I guess we all need help at some time or another in our lives. I know of no one that has $5,000 laying around to loan me. But I know that I have countless friends and family that could pitch in a few bucks here and there, skip a latte or eating at Micky D's and send a few bucks and prayers my way. My situation is dire, eviction is immenient and car repo (if I can pay the deductible for the repairs) is surely about to happen.  I'm about to be without electricty at any moment and yet I'm still trying to get to work. My additional souces of of income (Lyft-car is in the shop and soon to be repoed and selling music online -records are in storage) have dried up. So I'm only working at the hotel and the money isn't coming in fast enough to keep me above water. So I'm asking for any help anyone can offer. I know God has give me challenges to overcome and I'm trying to meet and beat them...I thank you in advance for showing your love and kindness. Dan
