23 Year old Domenic Has Duchenne muscular dystrophy - an aggressive degenerative muscle condition. There is no cure. Duchenne allows boys to walk, run and play - and then it takes it all away.
Dom has been in a wheelchair since he was 10, taking on life as it comes - pretty casually. These young men pass away in the prime of their lives - average age of survival is mid to late 20's.
So much happens in life between the ages of 10 and 30. There are so many achievements, life experiences and milestones that pass these guys by.
One of Dom's simple pleasures was food - good food - recently he has lost the ability to swallow food. He has found another passion - photography - landscape photography. Many places are inaccessible to his normal wheelchair - having a 4x4 wheelchair will open up so many new experiences and new locations - sightseeing that was previously inacessible to him.
Please help to fund this 4x4 wheelchair so Dom can pursue his dream.
