WorldMUN UCAB goes to Seoul

WorldMUN UCAB is an organization composed by 20 talented individuals from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, located in Caracas, Venezuela that each year attends to Harvard World Model of United Nations. Every year, after selecting the new members from different majors, we start our preparation process that lasts for over 10 months to uphold our university and our country’s values in this important competition, for which we learn oratory, debate, leadership conflict resolution and many other skills in weekly meetings.

Since we do not receive any type of support from our university nor our government, as a team we also have to work hard and do different types of fundraising activities apart from preparing academically. However, the unstable and difficult economic situation in Venezuela has compromised our possibility of attending this great and important conference, as well as continuing to prepare ourselves as the leaders our country demands us to be.

Your contribution will not only be helping a group of 20 people attend this important and enriching competition, as well as maintain our historic leadership as a powerhouse in the event, but also support our ideals to fulfill our preparation and citizens of the world and, in a future, shape the reality of our nation for good.
