Funeral expenses

My name is micheal and im trying to raise money for my wifes family. Her dad died this weekend and he didnt have life insurance. He is an 8 year veteran, he fought for our country.  The army will not pay for his funeral.  We dont have alot of money and cant afford to pay for it. Any help would be appreciated. We are doing what we can. They are gonna charge 25$ a day to hold the body. Please help us, im not one to ask for help, but im overwhelmed. Thank you to anyone who helps.
