Kerala, a southern state of India has been in the grip of the worst unprecedented natural disaster which struck thousands of people's lives with no drinking water, food and clothes. Many areas are still submerged by flood waters due to mansoon rainfall and land slides. We, Colchester Malayalee Community (CMC) hails from Kerala and are pleading everyone to donate generously for the affected people who are deprived of food, clothing and shelter.

Thousands of people, including young children, destitutes and the elderly have been forced to take shelter in emergency rescue camps. We are raising this fund to support people who have lost everything due to the fury of nature, your kind donation can help the people of Kerala in the flood-hit regions receive shelter, food, clothes and urgently needed medical supplies.

I am Jijo Unni, an executive member of Colchester Malayalee Community work on behalf of CMC to raise fund for this campaign. CMC intends to use the raised fund to build a home for a needy family, the raised fund will be delivered to this family by an executive memberof CMC in the form of a Cheque.
