Help Fund Rusty's Surgery

A couple of days ago our cat (a 5-year old orange tabby cat named Rusty) started vomiting and stopped eating. We were already worried, and then the next day he started urinating blood, and we had to rush him to the hospital. After an agonizing hour waiting for the doctor to give us a verdict, we were told that he seemed to have a severe urinary tract blockage that would require expensive surgery to repair.

To make matters worse, we also just had a huge car accident a couple of days before all of this and are still trying to pay for the repairs to get our car working again, so the $2500 bill for Rusty's surgery is just impossible for us to manage on our own right now. 

That's why we need help from our friends and family (and maybe some generous strangers?) to please pitch in anything you can to help us pay for Rusty's surgery. We love our Rusty and he needs this surgery to live, so we don't want to let him down. Any amount you can give is a huge help, whether that's $10, $5, or even $1.
