Hello there. We are a family of 5, which consists of Myself; Juan, my wife, my older son, and two younger daughters. We are a Catholic Family who reside here in Portland. Since we all have fallen into hard times, my family and I have struggled a lot. I work at a 2 jobs where I do not receive a lot of income due to Oregon's high income taxes, and my wife now works the longest and comes home very tired which worries me a lot. Back then my Wife and I had a lot of time to spend with our kids, and it seems like our only chances are once a week and afternoons. Our daily routine is Wake Up at 6AM and come back home around 11PM or 7PM. We received Food Stamps, and assistance from local organizations to help us pay our rent, all of which we are thankful for. And I'm also very proud that my 3 kids accepted to stay home alone for about 13 hours with custody and responsibility of taking care of their 22 month old baby sister. My kids; my son especially understands how hard we work, so he cleans the house and asks us constantly if he could help with anything so we wouldn't have to do it.
The money will be used to purchase enough food to feed my family, also pay for my kids' Medical Bills, because my kids are my responsibility. I've also decided to use some money to buy blankets, appropriate clothes, and purchase ingredients to prepare food to hand out to the Homeless in the streets, adding to this is donate to local parishes in the area. And also my wife is very close to her family who reside in Mexico and I decided to send money and convert them into Pesos to help them pay for property taxes, major sources like water and food, and to pay for Medical Bills as well. Along with our rent and utility.
And if it would be posible or not, I'd kind of expect to maybe reach our goal somewhere between Christmas or somewhere after New Years.
I know it's a lot of money, but I'd be more than happy if you made this posible to help my family. I am grateful my family does all these favors in order to provide a stable support to keep our family positive.
Thank you for your time!
