Falcon Dance is a NYC based non-profit company striving to bring accessible, innovative, and thought provoking work to the community. www.falcondance.com
In our second year as a company, we will premiering 1 new work and revisiting 1 previous work. This October we travel to Ledyard, Connecticut for a 4 day residency at The Dragon's Egg studio. During our time at The Dragon's Egg, we will be reworking 'Home, Heart, Hero' and finishing our new piece 'The Royal Society'. In January, the company will be sharing an intimate evening of work, both pieces, at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX) theater. The production is being presented through BAX's Visitors Program, a subsidized performance package rental program, and is a self-production by Falcon Dance.

The Work:
The Royal Society - During the 17th Century in Europe, a time riddled with disease and religious turmoil, a secret society was formed. Great minds like Newton, Boyle, Wren, and Wilkins met to uncover great mysteries of the world. Their accomplishments became the defining force in how we live in our modern society today.
Home, Heart, Hero - A remembrance for 13 men, and countless others, whose lives ended abruptly. No explanations, no answers, no justice.
