Clive needs your support to help his Mum

Michelle was diagnosed with Addison's Disease in 2012. It is a long term disorder whereby the adrenal glands do not produce enough steroid hormones. Symptoms are life debilitating causing extreme fatigue, weakness, generalised muscle pain and more seriously collapse from adrenal crisis leading to emergency admission into hospital.
Michelle needs emergency injections to save her life. She has a wonderful medical assistance cocker spaniel Dog called Clive who alerts her when she is about to collapse. Michelle has to take multiple medications and she has very unstable blood sugars. Clive is an absolute star and is loved by everyone who knows him, especially in the workplace. There is a lifeline available to Michelle, but unfortunately this is not available via the NHS.
An Adrenal pump would mean Michelle's symptoms would improve significantly and this would provide her and Clive a lifeline where she could start to lead a relatively normal life without pain, muscle weakness and constant lethargy.
The cost of the pump is £3000 and there are regular private consultations which in total will accumulate to £6000. Michelle hopes that if she has this pump and it is successful then the NHS may consider funding the treatments in future.
Other Addison's patients who have had this pump already are living different pain free lives now- we all just want to help Michelle do the same. She deserves it as she never complains or grumbles. Lets get fundraising now so we can give Michelle the money to commence the implementation of her pump which she can have next spring if she has raised enough funds.
So if you can spare a few pence or even a bit more and you love doggies particularly assistance dogs like Clive who do a Stirling job without much recognition, then please consider doing something to help, no matter how small, every donation will be thoroughly appreciated.
