Clint Veterans Park Improvement

In recent weeks, I was invited to attend a monthly meeting with the Veterans Group of Clint. In our meeting, I discovered that this group of veterans are extremely passionate and committed to their work in honoring and remembering veterans. They meet every month to discuss, and problem solve issues facing veterans and they meet every Thursday to clean the Veterans Park located at the base of the famous water tower in Clint, Texas. In the discussion regarding the park, this group spoke with great pride, and I was touched by their passion and commitment as they mentioned their wish to see much-needed improvements and much-wanted beautification. As Veterans Day 2022 quickly approaches, I hope to receive your support in helping to make this dream come true for this veteran’s group as a form of gratitude for 20 years of service to the veterans of Clint. The items mentioned on their wish list include new benches, a new grill, shrubbery, soil, flowers, paint, sod, picnic benches, and ample overhead lighting. I have created this fund in the hope of gifting the money so they may purchase these items. However, I would also love to receive any of these items as donations. I hope to meet the fund goal of $3,000 by October 28th so they can have the park prepared for the upcoming remembrance on Friday, November 11th. I would appreciate your support and look forward to making this happen for a group of extraordinary gentlemen that have given of themselves and their time over and over again.
