1,576 Steps to Girl Power!

Hey everyone!
I am so excited to announce that I was recently selected to participate in the 41st Annual Empire State Building Run-Up ! What this means is that on February 7 at 8pm EST, myself and hundreds of others will climb all 86 floors (1,576 stairs!) to the top floor of the ESB -- for fun!
But there has to be more to it than just fun, right? Of course!
For the race, I have decided to create this GoFundMe to raise funds for my friend Danielle's NGO, SERniña. I met Danielle a few years ago in Antigua, Guatemala, as she was branching out on her own to build the NGO. I have seen the organization grow and have kept up with the progress as it has done so. It has been so inspiring to see it as it's happening - and to recognize that she is not only doing a fantastic job bringing education and empowerment to young women in Guatemala, but everything is happening in a grassroots, this-is-how-it-should-be-done way. No high overhead, no mismanagement of funds. Danielle's huge heart and desire to be help change the planet as we now know it shows through the work she has created and maintained with SERniña.
Over the next few weeks, I will share more info about this amazing organization, as well as give updates on my training progress. In the meantime - here's how you can help:
Option 1: Donate $0.25 for every floor climbed (just $21.50 total -- if I finish!)
Option 2: Donate $0.50 for every floor covered (a mere $43 (potentially...)!)
Option 3: Donate $1.00 for every floor completed (86 smack-a-roos!)
Option 4: Donate whatever amount you want! (hint, hint: go big or go home...)
It's that easy! For you at least...
